Help with search (business schools)

I don't really know where to apply since I do not know what schools are great as business for my stats. I live in the midwest so I would prefer a school here (big 10) and some east coast schools as well. My stats are:
3.7 UW 3.9 W gpa
30 ACT
some good ecs.

What are some colleges I should look at? All I'm looking at right now is Illinois and Indiana but I want to know if there are some other strong business colleges to consider.

Your first business decision needs to be about how much you are willing to pay for your education. Sit your parents down, and ask them about the money. Talk about how they feel about college debt, and what they think about you working during your vacations and/or the school year. Run the financial aid calculators at [EFC Calculator: How Much Money for College Will You Be Expected to Contribute?](http://apps.collegeboard.com/fincalc/efc_status.jsp), and get yourself informed about the financial aid process by reading through [FinAid! Financial Aid, College Scholarships and Student Loans](http://www.finaid.org) and the threads here in the Financial Aid Forum.

Michigan is a reach, but not by too much if you can raise your ACT score.

Notre Dame - Reach
Boston College - Has gotten increasingly hard to get into, may be “reachy” with a 3.7/30
Michigan - Probably in for Michigan but not a pre-admit to Ross
Carnegie-Mellon - Very math oriented, what’s you math SAT/ACT?
Penn State - Rising reputation
Wisconsin - probably in
Minnesota - Good School, comparatively cheap for OOS
Indiana - Very good BSchool, you’re probably a pre-admit to the BSchool and you may qualify for some automatic merit aid with a 3.7/30 (visit the web-site and check)

He’s not a “shoe in” for Michigan, admissions standards have changed since Michigan switched to the common application. Many students with his stats were wait listed or rejected. LSA is a reach let alone being a pre-admit.

Thanks guys. I guess I was right with IU being a good business school and I never really considered it more. I can’t really consider U of M of Wisconsin because I know I couldn’t get any money there.

Also, my sister goes to U of I and tells me they have a really good business school, but she is really biased. I also live in Illinois so I could get in state tuition. Is she telling the truth?

And I have a 32 in math and 31 on science on the ACT.
