So here's the deal. I'm currently taking two APs, as a junior in high school. My school offers 11 APs, 5 of which are offered to juniors (two are different foreign languages)
My courseload this year is as follows:

Honors Physics
Honors PreCalculus
AP English Language and Comp
AP American History
Honors French 4
Honors Criminal Justice and Law
Honors American Rights in Action

I'm having a difficult time deciding on my classes for my senior year.
I had originally decided that I would take three APs and the rest honors:

AP English Lit and Comp
AP Biology
AP Calculus AB
Honors French 5
(other classes undecided)

However, I'm worried because there are a few people I know who are taking four, even five APs (which has to be requested by a parent). Would colleges think that I didn't take enough APs? My other options would be AP French, AP Chemistry, AP Euro History, AP Physics.

My problem with AP French is that I have heard it's a lot of work. The funny thing is though, AP French and French 5 are in the same class (since not enough people take AP), so they do the same classwork; homework and projects are just different. I'm not sure I can motivate myself enough to study that much for AP French, but I also think I should be able to maintain an A-average in the class.

So my main dilemma is between taking AP French or French 5. If I took AP French, I would have four APs, obviously.

Any advice? Things to make me think? I just feel like knowing some of my friends are taking four or five APS makes me feel less motivated than them. But in reality, I just don't know if I can handle AP French.

added --> My average from first trimester this year was a 95, and my class rank from sophomore year was 5/344.
