Hey guys im in need of some help. So I think I'm sticking with a class and going to try and pass it. My first choice is LA and second is SD. If I submit my SIR to LA now, but end up with a D in the class, can I still send my SIR to SD afterwards if I get rescinded? I called SD and they said it was fine if I got a D as long as I have a good GPA so not worrying about that. Help appreciated.

I think you can SIR to both but you won’t get your 100 dollars back.

I thought we couldn’t SIR to more than one school?? I thought that got you in trouble?

You cannot SIR to two schools and if you do so you risk being rescinded!

Three things:
- How will they know if you sent two SIRs?
- I would think once you find out, you can just cancel it but you would lose your 100
- Have you guys heard of anyone getting rescinded from sending multiple?

They all use the same application system so it would seem that there is some mutual database management among them.

Probably not, see 3.

I read I think twice of people doing so and being rescinded.

Moral of the story: don’t SIR till you’re sure about your grade.

all sirs are compiled in the UCOP database. you risk being rescinded by the entire university of California if you submit two SIRs (its one university with multiple campuses).

wait until nearer the deadline to send in your SIR. You should also contact your preferred campus and ask them the consequences of getting a D in the specific class you mention

SIR to both at your own risk.
Here’s an easy way to NOT get rescinded… study.
