Your SAT needs a boost to get you into a competitive range to be considered. Academics are a big part of the application, get those up to par and you should be good to go.

I see you were at Yokosuka, I enjoyed playing paintball at Tama Hills when I lived in Tokyo. ;) I went to Nishimachi Int'l School if you know that one (since I know they play Yokosuka in Basketball a lot).

Life lesson: avoid posting your real full name in public places.

Now, like Hornet said, what you need to focus on is obviously your academics. That's the biggest component of being accepted, and it's the biggest component of your ranking while you're here. That should be your number one priority. Bury your nose in some books.

But a boost in academics is definitely possible. I was in the same place as a Junior as well so don't lose hope. Good luck!

do they take into account that it was my first time taking my SAT?

Neoseeker99
They don't take into account your first, or your tenth time -- they "superscore" your best scores on the SAT and the ACT -- so every time part of your score goes up, they take that new score, keeping the highest of your previous scores. Make sense?

And, I've said this before, but look to the left under "Top Forums" -- the 4th line down is "SAT/ACT" and click on that -- then click on "SAT Prep" -- note at the very TOP of that forum it says "Xiggi's SAT Prep Advice" and there are over 750 responses to that thread! Why? Because that advice works! Go to it and raise your scores!

BUT, before you do that, go back up to your original post and "edit" your name out of there as 07Petco suggested!

its doesnt say anything that says i can edit it

You no longer can...

Eh, Future reference then. Just be careful with it.

I got in, and you have ALOT more things than I do. Don't worry about it..Just apply quick, spots are going fast. When I accepted there were only 20 spots left for session 3, 70 for sessio 2, and 90+ for session 1. this was last Friday by the way!

you have.... 57.576434624% chance.

Hope this helps.
