Help with starting a hacking club aimed at Capture The Flag and bug bounty stuff

I just recently started my school’s first ever sword fighting club as I’m very interested in Japanese culture and language. On top of that I thought of my interest in programming and the cybersecurity field, and some of my friends who’re interested in ethical hacking, and so I’d like to organize a weekly meetup in the library after school where I could teach security and forensics and reverse engineering concepts from books I’ve been reading and learning from, as well as learning from Udemy courses and videos, venture into Linux bash scripting and programming. I know a handful of people who’d be interested, however, I have a few doubts in mind.

I’m lost as to how to teach and run the club overall properly and in a more organized manner, how to teach the material concisely so they’ll understand, and teach it to where they don’t get bored or distracted or angry with stuff they don’t understand. A lot of people in my school here have a short attention span and like to get to the hands on stuff quick or else they become disinterested. I know learning programming and hacking in particular isn’t quick like that at all, but I still hope to help them move along and get to solving CTFs and bug bounties in a short matter of time.

If any of you are interested in programming or have experience teaching or starting a computer club of any sort, could you provide any pointers? I’m passionate about the cybersecurity field and programming overall, so I’d like to make this meetup/club thing as fun and as accessible and understandable as possible.
