how will amherst know which question I am answering if there is no place for students to choose their topics?
should I copy the question at the top of my essay so they will understand which text i am refering to?

I approached it by making my title “1. Insight is Overrated,” sliding the prompt number in.

I just copied the whole quote onto the top of my essay.

I just assumed that the admissions officer was intelligent enough to read my essay and make the connection, because my essay could only connect to one prompt. Oops.
