Help with summer programs!

<p>I recently applied to a RSI and MITES
i got rejected from RSI. bummer. but not even some of the best get in, so i was prepared for rejection.</p>

<p>MITES also has a low acceptance rate, so again i suppose many will embrace themselves for yet another rejection.</p>

<p>I had a couple questions though. First, we were given the option to share the MITES application with SSP. does that mean we will also be considered for SSP?</p>

<p>Most importantly however. What other research / MITES-like programs are still open to applications right now?</p>

<p>I don't really care about the prestige factor. I just want to have the experience that so many people love over their summers. </p>

<p>PLEASE HELP. i'm almost desperate to find something at this point.
I am not lazy however. I have looked through college confidential and through the web.
I am still having trouble however.</p>

<p>I am a SSP applicant, not MITES</p>

<p>hmm… to the mites/ssp sharing thing- i don’t think so. i mean, you applied for mites only and unless you sent in your application for ssp too, you wouldn’t be considered for ssp because you didn’t actually appy to ssp.</p>

<p>does that make sense lol?..=)</p>

and i checked yes</p>

<p>so i dont know exactly what that means for me
lol</p>
