Assuming everyone else is mortal and you would grow normally, would you want to be immortal?

no, i wouldn't.

Thanks, I need as many posts as possible.

Yes, but I wouldn't want to be all shriveled up and ugly by the end of my life. And I'd also like to have the chance to die normally whenever I want to (say, if I get hit by a truck, then I'll die, instead of just getting back up again and walking away fine).

Otherwise, no.

No. I don't believe we're meant to endure forever. I would never want to. Like love. To be in love and have death forever seperate me from the one I love? To live all the days of my life bitter and alone because I can never have my lover who has passed on? No thank you. :p

Philosophical celebrian... interesting.

I'm going to go with no.

No, there is only so much to do in life, and I would not want to pursue everything. In addition, there would be no sense of goalmaking-one woudl know they could put whatever goal they had in mind off indefinitely because they know they would fulfill it some day. I view one of the main purposes of life is to set goals and try to meet them. one would have to constantly think up other objectives for life when all the ones made were met-and eventually one would run out of objectives to meet. Thus one of the central ideas that makes us human- dreams and endeavors- fail to exist because there is no time limit.

No. I mean, it would be awesome if I could be immortal, unable to die, until I was maybe eighty or ninety. That would be nice. Wouldn't have to worry about dying in freak accidents until then.

yes! i'm confident that someday there'll be a cure for wrinkles and all health problems. someday..

no. i don't want to die, but living forever? by some point, i think i'd be ready to move on to whatever lies ahead

Definitely not. What meaning would life have if it went on indefinitely? The beauty of life is that it eventually comes to an end, and we have to make the most of it while we still have it. There is not always a tommorow, a concept which spurs us to take risks and to truly experience life. Immortality would yield laziness and boredom and would take away the meaning and value of life itself.

no. the world is going to blow up someday and i don't want to be there when it happens.

Yes. Knowledge doubles everyso many years. Always something to do!

As long as I'm hot forever. Like Billy Zane hot.

nope...if life was endless, then each day wouldnt be as valuable and enjoyable to us....

ps: celeb i love how you and me keep referring to love so much these days :p :D hahaha

No, living forever would drive me insane. Its funny(and annoying) enough listening to my AP Govt teacher who's 25ish say how old he feels when he's around us seniors.
