<p>Hi, how lenient is CMU on accepting late teacher recs? Unfortunately, one of my teachers thought that the deadline was today, the 2nd, instead of the 1st. Will this be an issue, or does it not really matter?</p>

<p>You can send in recs until 01/15 I believe. According to the CMU admissions office, your supplement and common app are the only application pieces that have to be in on time. I sent in an additional rec on 11/11 and they still added it to my ED application. Just call the admissions office and let them know that you’re going to sending a late rec.</p>
