I just got my term bill and I don't see a dorm fee included. I do, however, see a meal plan. Thye cashed my dorm deposit. Why is it missing?

I heard that they haven’t added housing to some of the term bills yet and that they’re working on adding it in.

Thank you!

under financial aid there is an amount and then a CR next to it. what does the CR mean? is it for ap credit that i have recieved?

That’s how much credit has been added to your term bill.

credit as in…?

Money you can use to buy books, and other school supplies etc.

CR is your financial aid, as in your grants, scholarships, and federal loans [both subsidized and unsubsidized]. Apparently it doesn’t include NJ Tag, they give those out later.

Could anyone tell me if the $200.00 deposit freshmen paid toward housing should, or can, be taken as an adjustment to the term bill? I ask because it isn’t listed as a credit as near as I can tell.

So with the term bill you have to pay the “Total Balance” right?

I want to do monthly payments and I was wondering whether to include work study financial aid (since it’s not included in the term bill) with the “Total Plan Amount”. I have to pay $2981.20 this semester so do I subtract $1000 from that when I do the monthly plan?

Sorry to go off topic, but does anyone have their merit scholarship included in their term bill? I multiplied the amount that I have to pay by two (both fall + spring semester) and realized that it came to full tuition. I’m supposed to have a $10,000 scholarship. =/ I tried calling this morning, but I was told to leave a message and I have no idea when they’ll get back to me.

I’m looking at the term bill which does not have my dorm or meal plan yet which like said earlier will be hopefully added later but how do they expect us to pay by August 6th if we don’t know how much we really have to pay? And does the total balance factor in your loans and financial aid or is that like a raw total and you subtract your loans and awards and what not yourself?

Workstudy is earned weekly from a campus job or approved non profit organization. It is not credited to your term bill. We have until August 6 to pay the bill and perhaps some adjustments still need to be made.

mizuiro: just try again from mondays - fridays before five. i doubt they’d get back to you.

ctran: the total balance should factor in loans and fa and whatnot. i think they’re having some major problems over there because my total balance was incorrect as well, and when i called, they just instructed me to subtract my fa myself when paying the term bill.
