I’m stuck on this last question.
“Please tell us one thing about yourself you want us to know that hasn’t been reflected anywhere in your application, and why you feel this is important”
I’m honestly lost as I’ve told everything about myself with the other questions. What kind of response are they looking for? Thx
This question reminds me of one my kid had last year along the lines of “tell us something that most people don’t know about you”. My kid described a handy type skill that had been learned while working for a friend of ours who was building his own house (our friend literally built it with his own hands but for the use of some child labor here and there when the task required more than two hands). My kid didn’t have to explain why this was important, but I think the same story could have been used for your question to reveal a completely different facet of my kid that one wouldn’t have gathered from the rest of the application. Maybe there is a family tradition that has special meaning to you? Do you collect anything? Is there any area where you have sought and gathered an unusual amount of trivia knowledge? Perhaps you had ideas for essays that you didn’t choose to use but which would have offered insight into what makes you you? Maybe share a memory that has special meaning? Is there an aspect of your personality that one would not readily guess that helps explain what makes you tick?
