Help with time management!

How are all of you able to accomplish so much in ECs, self-studying, good grades, etc w/o sacrificing your life? (and please don't respond "we/i don't", -.-). Is it simply optimizing studying by doing targeted review or something? What tips do you have?

see in all of that my grades have been going down and im concentrating more on them now so i really don't know

Blast through it. No. Don't "take your time". Blast through it early. As soon as possible for test studying. Then come back to it and briefly review the terms so you know them the night before the test.

Blast through it so you know the whole general concepts/etc. You just don't remember the specific words, but they are there, just not solidly visible.
A quick review should clear up anything you are missing.

Homework should be done with a plan. As soon as you get the HW, devise a plan for it, and follow it. There is no time to "think about it". I'm talking about regular HW, not essay's research papers etc.

Make sure you follow a project timeline for those.

get. away. from the computer. Allot an hour/half an hour each day for self-studying. Do as much homework as you can when you get home. Schedule "free days" (or let them pop up unexpectedly), but also mark a work day. Get up early on weekends, you'll get a lot done! Don't do the things that are unimportant.

It's very important to keep deadlines/due dates in perspective. Depending on the subject, you may need to prepare for a test from the get-go, or just cram on the night before (works for math and chem, NOT comp sci). Keep facebooking to a minimum.

I should do this myself, but I will procrastinate until it's absolutely necessary to stop.

EC's = 5 of my clubs only meet once or twice a week, 1 meets once a week, 2 meet almost every single day, and usually they all end around 4-6 PM.

Self-Studying = During study/when I'm bored/when I feel like being productive

Good Grades = Study hard. Re-read alot. Ask if I don't understand something. Relate the topic to something you already know or love. Create tricks to help remember stuff, like mnemonics and songs.

Life = Weekends and sometimes after school, depends on the day. Usually I can hang out with friends after school for a few hours for the majority of the year.
