Help with uc gpa calculation

hi, im having trouble calculating my uc gpa, my cumulative gpa is 4.07 from sophmore and junior year but i feel its different for uc. any help would be appreciated please.

Sophomoreyear:
LA 2a hnr:A A
ALG 2A: B B
PSYCH AP: A A
CHEM HONOR: B A
BUSINESS AND PERSONAL FINANCE: A A
P.E. A A

Junior Year: LA 3A AP: B A
US HISTORY AP: B B
Precal honors: C C
Spanish 2: A A
Creative writing/Tennis: A/A
Environmental science AP: B B

also i have a question, i didnt take world history sophomore year because i moved into school late but i took it in senior year. does it also get added into gpa i got a B /A

Not counting PE, your gpa for UC is 3.82. Your honors/Ap get +1 to gpa for each for a maximum of 8 Semesters

[CaliforniaColleges.edu - Calculating Your GPA](http://www.californiacolleges.edu/admissions/california-state-university-csu/gpa_calculator.asp#calculator)

can u explain to me how u got 3.82 im confused plz

9 A’s = 36 grade points
8 B’s = 24 grade points
2 C’s = 4 grade points

subtotal = 64.

Plus 8 bonus points = 72 total grade points.

Divide by 19 semesters = 3.789

Assumed “LA” = Language Arts, i.e., English. PE does not count, nor does tennis. In our HS, Business & Personal Finance is not a-g, so I excluded that as well.

i have a question since i took world history senior year (because i moved into school late) which is a sophomore class, will that be added to my gpa? if so i got a B/A

senior and freshman classes do not count no matter what. If you got two A’s in AP Calculus freshman year, it still would not count. So world history doesnt count. If you are wondering why i got 3.82 and he got 3.789, it is because i counted business and finance and he didn’t but i am not sure if that is an A-G course. only A-G courses count

depends on when you took the “senior” class. UC does include summer courses taken AFTER Jr year – when you are technically a senior, or “rising senior” – in the UC gpa. Just add 'em under Jr year coursework.
