My WFU interview is very soon and I don't know what to expect. Can anyone please give me advice? If you have done an interview, what did they ask you? I believe I put as my intended or areas I am interested in as Finance and Biology. Should I know a lot about those areas? Thank you for helping.

Child had interview recently. Was about academic achievements. Extracurricular activities. What new activities will you explore at wake. Be prepared to answer why should someone go to college

Hi, @harriet123:

The interviews tend to cover a lot of ground, but tend to not be very in-depth. They, of course, vary by interviewer. Some interviewers ask less questions than others do. I was asked why I wanted to go to Wake Forest, what I liked best about my visit to the school, what my favorite subject was in high school, what I was interested in, etc. I would definitely not worry about knowing a lot about Finance or Biology, but you may want to review the reasons WHY you would be interested in those majors - is it because you have always been interested in business? Did you have a great science course in high school? Etc.

Most importantly - don’t psyche yourself out! Just be yourself. There is no way you can study every possible question and have an answer for everything. I was once asked during an interview a very difficult and abstract question. You can just think about it for a second and answer it to the best of your ability. You will be fine Best of luck!

My sister had interview recently. They asked what books she read, what research she would like to do, what activities she planned on doing, why WFU, what majors or minors she might be interested in. Fortunately she is very familiar with WFU and had done a lot of thinking about what she would like to pursue there.
