Hey everyone! All the colleges I applied to want to see my first semester grades before accepting/rejecting me, and, since I had a really bad semester, I decided that I should write them a letter. What should I include in my letter? Overall, my gpa's pretty low but I have fairly high test scores.

Thanks :)

And when/where should I send the letter? Should I do an email or phone call or what?

^^^ Then your parents need to call the Principal and get some of her time freed up. I can’t think of anything more important for a GC to be doing in the run-up to college admissions than helping current seniors with any problems and issues. I hope the Principal agrees.

You better hope your college list is very deep. Your "good’ test scores will frankly be swamped by not only a culmulative low GPA but an ongoing inability to turn it around. Your Jr and Sr year grades are the best indicators of your college performance.
