Help Withdrawing SIR

Hi!

I was recently accepted to Cal Poly SLO and am planning on canceling my SIR at CSULB. I have already requested a refund via the survey for my housing deposit, my reason being “canceled program”, and couldn’t find anything on the official CSULB website regarding steps to withdrawing admission. I vaguely remember withdraws being mentioned in a contract, but I can’t really find any information. Should I simply contact admissions?

I may just be missing something obvious, but just wondering if I could receive some help with this matter. Thank you!

I would just email admissions about the withdrawal.

Add/Withdrawal Policy | Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

All requests to drop or withdraw from academic classes or programs must be submitted in writing to the Education Office in Building 52, Room E34 or faxed to (805) 756-5933. … You cannot drop classes through your Cal Poly portal.

@thomas4881: OP was asking about withdrawing from CSU Long Beach not Cal Poly SLO.

If they cannot find a way to withdraw their SIR through their student portal, then contacting admissions is the best course of action.
