oK here is my question:

If I already sent my ACT score for ED, but got my Nov. ACT (same score again) but 2 points higher in writing would you resend it?

Here are the stats
October- E:33 M:32 R:33 S:30 W: 8 C:32

November-E: 35 M: 34 R: 32 S:26 W:10 C:32

I applied ED so my scores are sent, but I can update!
Would you resend the ACT score with 2points higher on Writing if you were me, even though I want to be a science major and dropped to a 26 in science?

Thanks CC friends!

I would definitely send it! It will show you studied, and went up in an area!

I’m not sure if Brown superscores ACT scores, but if they do, you should, and if they don’t, then then there’s no point in submitting.

It also shows that you dropped 4 points in science. Perhaps you could call admissions and ask.

Alright, I know for a fact that ACT super-scores. However, I believe that the Admissions page says October ACT’s are the last to be considered, because it takes a few days for ACT to send, and they have already read some applications.

That being said, you are going to send it there anyways if deferred, so I would definitely do it no hesitation. A 10 in writing can help a lot; that’s 99th percentile, compared to like 70~ for an 8.
