<p>i'm new at these boards.</p>

<p>i have a friend who's just finishing high school, she's 18 and has a very good high school record.</p>

<p>i was wondering if anyone here knows about the stegner fellowships offered by stanford. i mean i know there are no age or nationality requirements as such but do u think they'll accept an 18 year old?</p>

<p>If you look at the FAQs on the fellowship webpage it says they have admitted people as young as 22, so not knowing any more than that, I'd say chances would be slim...</p>
