I think you are looking at two schools that are both top notch. The big difference will probably what areas of research they have staff interested in.

hi,actually i know that the top unis in physics are harvard, mit, caltech, princeton and standford.bt in terms of prestige,i’ve narrowed down 2 harvard and mit.so which one is btr? i heard sumwhere b4 that mit focuses heavily on applied physics,i.e.engineering,and harvard more to the pure area,i.e. theoretical part.bt i m nt sure whther that is exactly true or nt.

help pls

If you want reliable help here, I would suggest that you re-post your question in standard written English.

If you are just curious about which aspects of Physics these institutions are most active in, I suggest that you run the names of the Physics professors through an academic search engine such as [Google Scholar](http://scholar.google.com/) The abstracts of most of the journal articles that you will find through those searches will be publicly accessible. The full articles may require a subscription, but the staff at your school library or local public library should be able to help you get access to the full articles if you decide that you want to read them.
