Help

Hello,

I would like to get everyones input on whether or not I can get in schools like Choate, Exeter, Andover, Deerfield, Peddie etc. etc. I'll just concisely list my accomplishments and ECs. (Am from Panama , Central America, not Florida.) My tops are: Choate, Loomis, Exeter, and Taft. Please give a simple yes, no, probably, or low chance to each of these, or just a percentile :).

I am fluent in both English, and Spanish.

I practice Hap-Ki-Do, and am soon getting my blue belt.

I play American Football, and was elected to play in the all star team of Panama, but could not attend because of some family issues.

I have played soccer, this is one of my favorite sports, and i've played it for 7 years.

I have also played tennis, for about 5 years.

Once I turn 14 in May am planning to join the Cayuco team, this team does the ocean to ocean race, the name is pretty self explanatory.

I get 2-4 As each quarter.

(Im also vegetarian I thought I would throw that in, probably isn't very important, may be a hook)

I participate in the Math Olympiad

I need FA that may hurt my chances.

I know I may not have the best chances, but I would like to get everyones thoughts on whether or not I can get in either of these schools. (My top choices are Peddie, and Choate.) Thank you for all your time.

anyone at all?

Sorry just saw this. As for your chances, I don’t know - the fact that you are from Panama is interesting, but don’t rely on it entirely as a hook. Your grades are good, but none of these things are the determining factor. For now, just ensure that your SSAT, essay, and interview are good - in my opinion, that’s how admission offices pick between two equal applicants. You seem perfectly qualified to get in, but so are a lot of people who get rejected/wait-listed every year. The real question is, will you distinguish yourself enough during the admissions process? Good luck :)

Thank you very much.
