Help!

So...I'm thinking of applying to H EA next year. My scores are pretty good; my extracurricular meh (partly because I live in a country that doesn't give a damn about this).

But... By the time I apply, I will have entered college. So should I still give it a shot? If yes, from which counselor and teachers do I have to ask for recs?

Thanks in advance. :)

In countries with a different admissions cycle, you were still supposed to have applied during your last year of secondary school. For instance, my friend from Australia got in and then had 9 months to kill (or something). She did end up spending it at a university, but not as a regular degree student. If you will have entered university by the time you apply, not by the time you get in, you are a transfer applicant.

I do have decent ECs, but they are incomparable to those of CC posters. I spent most of my time working. :)

exultationsy:

I plan to spend my second semester half-time studying. I have to work for financial reasons. :)

Bumpity bump…

You should maybe e-mail them and ask, then? It doesn’t sound like the answer is so obvious that asking would be silly.

Is Harvard taking transfers at all these days? I know that a few years back they weren’t…

Harvard started accepting transfers again starting with Fall 2010 enrollment:
