Help?

College Majors Theater/Drama Majors

<p>So I was recently at a school that didn't work out for financial issues as wel as other ones. I think I would like to go to a conservatory as I wouldnt want to graduate later then I was going to. What conservatories would be the best to look at for acting? I am not against going back to a B.F.A program, butare there any that people can apply to for a winter or spring semester so I could be on track to where I was. Preferablly in NYC or mass, but I will keep an open mind. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>I was at Pace. It just didnt work. I was looking at Places like CITS and American Academy of Dramatic Arts</p>

<p>My problems were mostly financial. I had a big loan denied and I wasn’t told about it. They did try to offer help, but I did a lot of thinking and found that maybe it wasn’t the place that was best for me, aside from tat I really enjoyed it. The area as well as my acting classes were pretty great and other classes were very easy.</p>

<p>if you were at Pace and had financial problems, you would have issues with these schools too. If you contact them, they will say that they give scholarships but you would probably have to take a loan out like $20,000 plus. </p>

<p>Did you get scholarships at Pace at all? You probably should go to a CC for a year and reaction if you are look into regular colleges.</p>

<p>AMDA, AADA and the others are not really going to help you out with financial issues. So put that in consideration.</p>

<p>With work and such I can go to one of these places, get aid where I can and probably end up moving in with a friend I have there. So these are my places in my mind.</p>
