Help?!

Hi! I just got my 2nd SAT scores and I'm still not up to par. Do I have any chance?

4.0 weight gpa, 3.6 or 3.7 uw
23 ACT
superscore 1670 SAT. CR 590/ M 520/ W 560
I have no idea how many exact hours I have, but throughout high school i've volunteered many hours to basketball camps, elementary school field days, and spca animal shelter.
I've been apart of the basketball team, flag football team, student council, fca, interact, & drama department. I've helped out a lot with the drama department because I'm the stage manager. (I'm not sure if it counts as volunteering).

I know I'm going to have to apply for the summer term, and that's fine. If anyone knows the stats for summer, could you post them?

So how are my chances?? I'm freaking out!

Mid-Range GPA Accepted Summer 2011: 3.4-3.9 (recalculated)
Mid-Range SAT Accepted Summer 2011: 1560-1720 (CR+W+M)
Mid-Range ACT Accepted Summer 2011: 22-25

You’re going to get in, don’t worry.

Yay! Finally I see the stats! I still haven’t applied yet because I was waiting to get my scores. Do you think it would be a waste to take the sat again to try and get it higher?

Also, what website did you see the stats on?

Thanks again!

If it was me, I wouldn’t retake the SAT again and I got it from the Florida College Matrix 2011. It’s available to schools in FL and your counselor should have it. You can find it online, but you’re going to have to search a bit.

Oh, alright. Okay one last question lol, should I just apply for summer or is there any possibility I could get in for fall? I’m okay with summer, but i’d prefer fall so I can see more of my family before I start college.

Apply for summer, someone just got denied for fall with a 3.8 and a 23 ACT.

Rison, highly suggest applying for summer. The individual AS is speaking of was my twin brother. He applied for summer with, as she said, a 23 ACT and a 3.8 GPA-they rejected him for fall, and simply didn’t even offer him summer. They didn’t even DEFER him for summer. I’m waiting to hear back: Send our things at the exact same time, I had a lower GPA and ACT score (22) but a lot more out of school activities and involvement. I wouldn’t even chance it for fall. Good luck though! Sorry if I sound so blunt, or rude, I’m not trying to be. Right now, though, UCF is being very unpredictable with admission. Someone just got denied from SUMMER who had a 24 ACT and high GPA.
