Help!

Here's what I have

GPA: 3.2

SAT (Best, so far): Math-580, Verbal-640, CW-710
Classes this year: Hon. English, Hon. Gov't, Catholic Thought, Analysis, Physics, Hon. French 4, AP Econ, DJO Singers Hon.
(would've taken more AP's but my school does not automatically let us take AP if we want to; we have to qualify. Otherwise, I would've taken AP Gov't and AP French.)

SAT II's: French-720 (fluent), Math I-600, US History-560 (nothing extremely spectacular)

School Profile
-Large Catholic High School in Northern VA
-School does not Rank

Extra-Curriculars
-School's Acapella group, Second Soprano section leader (3 yrs)
-Student Council, which I was a Junior homeroom rep last year and a senior class councilor this year (2 yrs)
-FBLA, Vice President (1 yr)
-Tri-M Music Honor Society (3 yrs)
-Voice Lessons (5 yrs total, but 4 yrs if you're talking in terms of high school)
-Ambassador's Club (give tours during school's open house), (4 yrs)
-District XII Chorus (2 yrs, must audition to get in)
-4 year volunteer at my school's annual danceathon for Cystic Fibrosis
-I have volunteered all 4 years of HS at my grade school, helping teachers and the after-school daycare program.
-Accepted into and participated in the Washington National Opera's Summer Institute for Young Singers
-Recently accepted for an internship for the International Law Institute

What are my chances of getting into: VA Tech, Mary Washington, James Madison Univ., and McGill Univ.?

I was just accepted to Christopher Newport university, and I was accepted in to their President's Leadership program.

I know my stats are much lower than the others on thsi forum, but please help me!

...and my essays are pretty good. The main one I'm using for my applications is about my time spen at the opera program I did over summer.

I'd say yes. VT may not like your scores, and since you said "(so far)" I would try to raise those scores. Especially since VT is an engineering school, get your math to at least 650...

I'm not applying to their school of engineering, and I sohuldn't have said "so far" (my bad), because I'm not taking the SAT again.

Tech is not one fop my top choices, I'm just applying as a International Studies major to see what happens.

Mary Washington is a long shot...sorry to say! and VT may be easier, a 1220 is not bad...Id be confident with a 1300...James Madison is the same as MW

But since I'm a VA resident, doesn't that help in any way?

bump!

(any other replies?)
