Help!!!!!!

I forgot to sir at UCSD!!!! If I call on monday do you think they will still let me??????????

How do you forget to sir to a UC after all of your hard work and anticipation? All you can do now is call UCSD and BEG them to let you SIR. There’s no telling if they will or not, but that’s all you can do at this point. Tough luck!

No idea. Call and find out.

Is this for real? How did you forget?

It might be harder to beg past the deadline because there’s a waitlist and you gave your spot away. Hopefully they’ll let you in but they may look at it like, “you had all that time, how could you forget?” I put my SIR off untill a week before the deadline but that was because I couldn’t afford the extra $100 to accept. Call ASAP Monday! They’re the only ones who can give you a real answer.

Honestly, I doubt it. UCs/CSUs are pretty strict on deadlines and requirements.

Not to freak you out, but my fiance was accepted to UCLA a few years back, and forgot to SIR by the deadline. By the time he tried to contact UCLA admissions, UCLA refused to take him. He had to stay at CC another year and reapply. But, maybe UCSD will be different. Did you apply to any private schools that would still take you?

What’s sir?

Statement of Intent to Register

Unless you have a really good reason why you missed the deadline, UCLA will often not allow a late SIR. But the sooner you contact them about this, the better.

But they don’t call them “deadlines” for nothing.

what the ****

are you trolling

You can say you were out of the country for an emergency.

what!? I don’t even… ಠ_ಠ

That’s too bad .You had long time to do that.

how can you ever expect to be employed with that kind of habit? now all the waitlisters are laughing and hoping to get that spot…

lol this forum is hilarious

I called and told them I had an emergency so they will be emailing me soon letting me Sir after deadline!!!

Now if it was legit emergency that prevented you from submitting then you got lucky. But if you just lied to cover your mistakes because you are unable to handle the consequences of your own actions then you certainly have some growing up to do.
