In the common application supplement for binghamton, under "Academic offerings (required):select one" I put "finance (management)." I think that applying directly to the school of management makes it harder to get in. I can't change it on the common app but can I let them know that I want to apply to harpur instead? I haven't decided completely on whether I want to study either business or accounting (SoM) or economics (Harpur). How should I let them know that I want to change it? I probably wouldn't get into SoM but I am more likely to get into harpur.

It might be worth noting that I put business as my first interest and economics as my second interest. So could they still put me into harpur anyway if I don’t make the SoM?
