Help!!!

could anyone please recommend me some good colleges for me? Also some good safety schools as well, preferably on the eastern time zone, especially in NY, small to mid sized, good social atmosphere, I'm not completely sure what career i want so that doesn't matter but i was leaning towards journalism or business

3.67 gpa unweighted all honors/ap classes at a highly competitive catholic hs

Few quality ECs

Have you spent any time with the Fiske Guide to Colleges book? See if your guidance counselor at school or the school library has a copy. It is okay if it is a year or two old, the only info that changes much are slight tweaks to the SAT score ranges. That is a really good source of information.

Why are you asking this question now, when most students have been filling out applications for weeks, and you are only a few weeks away from application dates for many other schools? Do you already have a list, and you are looking to beef it up?

You might get some decent suggestions out here if you provide a little more info. If you can give the exact SAT breakdown, that is good. Exactly what are your ECs? Any other hooks (athlete, legacy, under represented minority)? What is your financial situation – is cost an issue?

I have a list i was just looking to beef it up a little bit, i got a 640 on the cr, 690 math, and 680 writing, im in mock trial, speech and debate, micro-finance club, church choir, church youth group, play piano, and son of immigrants from Haiti, and cost isn’t a main concern, but if i can find a good, cheap school that would be ideal

Can you tell us what your list already looks like, and why you like those schools?
