ACCIDENTALLY ALREADY POSTED HERE. sorry i posted twice bc i thought it hadn't posted.

My frehsman and sophomore years i recieved all A's with only ONE B.
However, once I reached my junior year I went through some troubles with my disorders and received straight C's first semester. and Mostly B's second semester. This semester (my first of senior year) is likely to be the same as last year's second. Probably mostly B's and one or two C's.

This scares me, because I really want to go to UChicago. I think my essays are really good and take unique approaches to prompts. Also, my teachers who wrote my recs address my low point and both say that I worked hard to get through it and both say that I'm doing great now. My activities are good. and my ACT score was 32. Also, I have a legal modification to my education plan, addressing the fact that my disorders are in fact real and recognized by my school (which im including in the additional info section). I also know somebody who went to UChicago and is on the board and can talk to some people there to explain my situation.

Despite all this I'm afraid that the GPA really will matter to them. It's a 3.7 weighted now but I'm afraid that it might go down a little this semester. I'm scared they won't think i can handle the work.

I want to show them that i am actually fairly intelligent. I'm afraid that they will only look at my grades, however. Do any of you have any input?
