Have narrowed down my list to the following:
USC Marshall Business School (with 12,500 per year scholarship) vs. UC Berkeley (going for Haas) vs. UChicago (econ major) vs. Vanderbilt (econ major) vs. WashU (Olin)

How does USC compare? And I live in SoCal so instate tuition for Berkeley. What to do !??!
Which one is the best for econ/business?

well, Haas is best for UG business, but Chicago is best for Economics.
In general, UG business programs are not really well thought of , especially compared to an MBA degree. The degree of rigor in UG business classes is relatively lacking, compared to the rigor of the hard sciences, for instance.
My advise is to go to Chicago. You will have the chance to take graduate business classes at Booth, which IS considered by all one of the top Business schools in the country, and a UG Economics degree from Chicago will open doors for you everywhere more places than a UG business degree from any other college.
I wouldn’t waste $$ on an UG business degree. Even from Haas.
