<p>Good point prodesse . . . we even arranged a mock audition with a couple local well-respected actors and paid accompanist right before Unifieds. It was very helpful as well.</p>
<p>Like monkey13 we also found MTCA mocks to be extremely helpful, especially when it came to adjustments. My son (current freshman at UMich) was asked to do adjustments for at least 4 of his auditions including doing his monologue as if the person he was speaking to was about to jump out a window, as a mob boss, and was even asked to improvise extra lyrics for one of his songs. The mocks really helped prepare him for those kinds of requests.</p>
<p>My daughter (Junior who will be going through this crazy process next year) was able to observe the MTCA mocks this past weekend (no charge). Just watching was helpful and I’m sure she will participate next year.</p>
