Does anybody have any ideas on how to get a laptop when you have bad credit I start school on the 13th of may
(for best results, please don’t make titles that say ‘help’, all threads are asking for help and is they all said help it would be hard to tell apart. Some people don’t even open threads that say help since chances are they won’t know the topic answer., thanks)
Are you a independent student? Are you on financial aid?
How about working t/t this summer to get the funds together in a few months? Also look for bargains, like a refurbished one with a warranty from the Dell Store or such.
Basically you are asking how to get a few hundred dollars. So you can sell stuff you have, looks for jobs, borrow from family…etc

Credit shouldn’t be an issue when buying a laptop because you shouldn’t be borrowing money to get a laptop. Pretty much every school is going to have computer labs or a library with computers or some resource for students to use a computer. Laptops are convenient but they are not absolutely necessary in the vast majority of cases. If you don’t have the money for a laptop, then you shouldn’t be getting one.
You can certainly save up to buy a laptop. Look for sales and for cheaper models. There are also refurbished computers that you could look into getting for cheaper. If you’re just going to be using it mainly for the internet, word processing, and other basic functions, you don’t need anything fancy.
