I’m trying to find scholarships or inexpensive colleges as I live with my great aunt and I wont be receiving any academic merit scholarships. I’m not sure about family contribution since my aunt is retired and making around 24k and I i get a disability check from dad which will stop when i turn 18. My mom is in no shape to contribute to me.
Does anyone have any idea for inexpensive colleges or websites for scholarships
Also im looking for advice about scholarships, financial aid and the process period as i will be needing alot of it.
Thank you!
In state colleges.
If you have the stats, apply to some top tiers.
OP, you should list your stats to help others give suggestions.
Stats ( i know there not good)
UW GPA: 2.6 (will graduate with around 9 AP Classes and All honors )
W GPA: 3.25
ACT: havent taken yet
SAT: (guess from practice exams)
CR 680
M 540
new sat doesn’t include writing so this is 1220/1600
What state are you in?
Presently, for your GPA, I don’t know of any scholarships that will fund you. Are you a junior? You may be able to get need-based aid from your state colleges.
OP, check your other thread. I included links to some full-tuition and full-ride scholarships (assuming that they used your weighted GPA).
Get good grades from now on to give you better chances.
Stay in-state, there are some really good schools in Texas.

Stop taking AP class that you can’t get an a or b in now. You are not making smart choices.
