Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, someone help me,
I am a Black male, who scored a 1010 (Funny) on my SATs, who is ranked in the 3rd quarter, who barely missed the 2nd quarter (I attend a mostly Caucasian high school, which has almost 30 validictorians, some of the kids on my basketball team at school, have scored 1200-1560 etc.) I want to major in Physical Therapy when I get to college, my g.p.a. is a 5.35/6.5 I have not taken any SAT II's, or AP tests yet. I just recently completed a very helpful College Writing class and I am still taking a difficult Medical Health Technology class. I simply cannot afford to take any additional standardized tests, right now much less, make a college visit. What are my chances of getting into Texas Tech, Texas State, UH, Angelo State, UTEP, Saint Edwards, Baylor and other schools within the Texas-Oklahoma-Louisiana region, with PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAMS. I really respect all of you on this message board, I would really appreciate it if y'all (I'm from Houston,Texas) were to help me. (NOT interested in playing basketball or any sport for that matter in college, unless they are intramurals.)

Anybody there?

Can you get a fee waiver in order to take the SAT again?

I am not sure, but I think that HBCUs Tuskeegee and Florida A&M have physical therapy programs. Those may be your best bet for a physical therapy major. It is an extremely difficult major to gain entrance into.

Also check out Xavier university, New Orleans. It doesn't have a PT major, but is known for doing the best job in the country of prepping black students for med school. It may have something you want. It also has what looks like excellent summer enrichment classes for incoming students in the sciences.

The dean of the allied health program at Tidewater Community College in Virginia (it's in Newport news, Norfolk or Va. Beach) is a black woman physical therapist Tuskegee grad who has been working hard to diversify the PT field. Even though you're not planning on going to community college, you might want to e-mail her and ask her for advice. I am sure you can find her name through Google.

Do study for the SAT IIs. Get the review books and devote at least an hour a day to prep. Prep does make a big difference.
Best of luck!
