I am looking to major in Poli Sci at Boston College. I am a senior student but I think I have made a mistake. I have taken history the past three years (all AP Credits), however senior year I had to pick between two semester classes; Honors Debate and Honors WW2. I chose debate and I am wondering if that was the right choice. It is important to mention I am currently taking AP Micro and will take AP Macro second semester. I will also be taking AP US Gov second semester.
Choosing Honors Debate vs. Honors WW2 is fine. Not choosing the other is hardly going to torpedo your application. Good luck.
On another subject, and for future reference, you’d probably get more responses if you had a more descriptive title; “Help” does not quite cut it.
Thanks man, I’m new to all of this. While it won’t torpedo my application, would one look better as opposed to the other?
No, both are equally fine .
No. You overestimate the amount of time admissions officers are going to spend looking at your courseload. Your entire application will be read in 12-15 minutes tops. Additionally, how would they even know that honors WW2 was even an option? Sure, they can see that the course is offered, but they don’t know if it is offered in a period that would cause you a schedule conflict. Relax; you’re overthinking this.
Thank you so much.
