Help!

I’m a high school senior who just heard back from my dream school (Cal) a few hours back. Luck was not on my side today lol. Anyways, at the moment I’m a middle college student at the moment; i.e., I take high school and college courses at my local community college. My goal, after completing high school is to continue through my local community college and transfer to Cal. My question is, are the college courses that I took during high school going to be considered by admissions offices when I apply as a transfer student two years from now? I may or may not have gotten a B this quarter in one of my college classes, and I want to know when I officially become a full-time community college student whether or not I will have a clean college academic slate or if the B I got in my college course as a high school student will effect my transfer admission in the future. Thanks in advanced!

The B is on your record. You need to include all colleges attended, even in high school. Failure to do so could jeopardize your admission.

All college courses will be considered. If you haven’t done well I’d look into your local CC programs and see if there are any transfer agreements with Cal. Some programs will give you priority in the admissions process. I’d definitely attempt to join some honor classes. One B shouldn’t ruin your chances in my opinion.
