I am an international student. I graduated from high school in June 2017. I want to major in chemical engineering at MIT. In my country, I applied to a medical school because my parent want so but I actually hate medical studies. I got accepted in October. Am I still eligible to apply as a freshman to MIT ?
This MIT faq should help.

If you complete this first year, you’ll need to apply as a transfer student.
If you choose to drop out after just two months, it looks like you can apply as a freshman, though you should contact MIT admissions to verify. (Not to mention you’ll have some explaining to do.)
“If you choose to drop out after just two months, it looks like you can apply as a freshman,”
This appears to be correct based on my read of the MIT web site posted above. However, getting into MIT is such as long shot, whether as a freshman or transfer student, that I wouldn’t do anything drastic in order to apply to MIT.
On the other hand, going to medical school even though you hate it does not sound like a great idea either.
