I am taking the ACT tomorrow and I need to improve my score 6 points! I have a 30 and I NEED a 36! What do i do? I only have 17 hours if I don't get any sleep!

You are kidding...right?

the only option would would have at this point would be to hack ACT to change your score

OK - I'll assume this is a serious post. Just get a really good night's sleep. You might just try going slowly through a practice test with no pressure to be sure you are comfortable with the format, can skim the instructions, etc.

Despite the fact that ACT places its emphasis on "learned material" (rather than SAT's "aptitude measuring"), I still believe that ACT tests skills rather than how much you've actually learned in school. So, unless you can become a great essay writer in 17 hours, or become a rocket scientist, there's nothing much that you can do other than going over your notes and get a good night's sleep.

I think he was just kidding.

Well, if you're not...just go to sleep. Having not taken it yet I have no idea but I just did a practice and honestly I just made the STUPIDEST mistakes. I think if I am awake tomorrow, I can avoid making most of them. I think at this point sleep's more important.

get some sleep and take a practice ACT book with you to school tomorrow before the test. if you can practice for about an hour before the test the material will be really fresh on your mind...that always helps me.

So do you get to the test center an hour earlier to do this?

Take some of those memory enhancement pills. They always work. This place sells it the cheapest. www.johnshi.bravehost.com
