<p>no you can take SAT tests in october and november before early apps are due. I took the SAT I in october and an SAT II in november and my scores arrived on time.</p>
<p>If your November scores are delayed, though, they won't get in on time.</p>
<p>Do a practice ACT and see how it goes. Maybe you'll do better on the ACT anyways.</p>
