For the "Why Chicago?" question, can I put dialogue and stuff in it, or will that just be irritating to the reader? I love to write creatively, and the paragraph essay is my archnemesis...help?

I wouldn't recommend it. Why are people having such a hard time with the first two questions? I bet you're overthinking it, man. Just simply write down WHY you want to go to Chicago, it's as simple as that. Why do you like the school?

^ I'm a girl, btw.

^ I'm a girl, btw. Thanks though

many students decide to go creative with answering the questions, and that's not necessarily a bad thing for the Chicago application-- just make sure that your why chicago piece addresses what you want it to address, that an admissions officer can get the same (I would hope more) information from your informal answer as opposed to a formal answer.
