<p>Hey-</p>

<p>I applied RD to Medill and am undergoing a change of heart about whether or not I actually want to apply to Medill. I read somewhere on the website that I would be able to change the school I am applying to, but I have a few questions...</p>

<p>1) Would this end up being a bad reflection on me when the admissions committee looks at me?</p>

<p>2) Here is the kicker though… my essay about why I wanted to attend NW made a few references to Medill – and I would obviously have to change them if I ended up changing the school I applied to. Does anyone think changing the essay would be possible? It seems doubtful that I would be allowed to.</p>

<p>you can't change your essay if you've already submitted yoru application. about changing schools, see if you can get in touch with the adcom and ask them about changing schools. If not, and you end up coming here, let your advisor know that over the summer, you decided that you would prefer somethign other than journalism.</p>
