Help!!!

Heya everyone,

Here's the deal... I live in Australia and I'm currently studying for my HSC (kinda like the aussie version of the SATs but completely different).

I need to get a great mark in my HSC to get accepted into law at Sydney University. However I was also really keen on applying to some colleges in the US, so that means I have to go through the process of taking the Sat I and II's, writing applications etc... on top of all my Australian school work.

I'm starting to think things can get pretty hectic if I take all this on. Then again, I would really love to study in the states. Do you think it would be worth the effort?

Thanks,

It depends on you. If you're confident about making it in within Australia, and feel sure that you wouldn't regret staying at home, don't bother with the US; however, if you really do want to study in the US, put in the effort and start early. Having a good application done on time will help you immensely.

I was in a similar situation myself -- Indian twelfth-grade is strenuous, and apps on top of that can be hell. Decided it was worth it if I made it into a top US school, though, and worked at the apps.
