Hi mattwhoever: ) You can find most people's stats if you look around... In response to your question about sports/band- I didn't do sports stuff, band stuff, or church stuff, and I got in early decision with a likely letter. My dad knows a guy whose daughter didn't get in to UNC b/c she decided to concentrate on sports rather than AP classes- big mistake there, and she ended up at some dumpy school. Kids in band also have a much harder time b/c band takes up so much of their schedules, and they can't take that many AP classes (I know several people in this position). It all comes down to what you can maintain- if you play sports, play an instrument, or cheer and are still smart, then you're fine. Hope this helps!

thanks a lot. by the looks of it, im right on track. ill see you at UNC in a few years.

cat119, thanks for the advice, but I've been doing band and varsity basketball for almost 2 years and my GPA is over 4.0. So for me, it's not hard to balance out. But still, thanks for the heads up.

Wow! That's quite a load: ) Still, it sounds like you've got it all under control. Maybe you should counsel the kids at my school, lol! It's great you're already on the ball.
