Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just took the may SAT and if u have been reading this forum for quite a while you could see my stats, where i predicted above 2200+. I finally managed to get :
CR -590(77)
W - 650(90th percentile?????)
M - 800 (99)
Now i feel like a fool. I am planning to retake the exam in october, the last one before i apply for early decision. someone please give me future prospects and advice on my CR.
(Can i sleep during the mth section in the next SAT?)

unless you score MUCH better in October, you should rethink the EA plan. (There is no ED at Stanford, btw). You also need SAT IIs if you haven't taken them.

And I would not recommend sleeping during math, even if they take the highest scores.

Alright, so you have two more test dates. You have to re-take the SAT. You have to. Not only will a CR score like that keep you out of Stanford, it will you keep out of pretty much everywhere else that is high-caliber too. I would recommend preparing all summer for the SAT and taking it in October.

Sign up ASAP for the June subject tests. Hopefully you have been in some AP classes and the course work is still fresh in your mind.

So, for June, focus on SAT IIs. Study really really hard. For the summer, do tons of practice tests for the SAT.

Good luck.

I agree; rethink applying early. Stanford may not receive the scores in time, as they accept and reject students with low scores early in their process. They are well-known for rejecting more than deferring than other colleges. In other words, you may get in regular, but be rejected early.

The writing is not that big of a deal, and should go up automatically with better CR. The problem is, CR is really a measure of how well you can understand articles. This is not a skill that will suddenly be gained with a little studying over the summer. I would say that you need to start reading a wide variety of types of literature, and doing whatever it takes to understand WHAT you are reading. Keep a journal or something similar. Then do some practice tests as you get closer to the test.

Is this true?? I am planning on applying SCEA and I have a fairly low SAT score. I was planning on retaking in October. Will I be rejected before Stanford sees my October scores??? Also, if I am taking SAT II"s in November will Stanford recieve those??

They look at your October scores.

I disagree with knightshield. I studied over the summer and my CR came up from 680 to 800. I'm going to Stanford, btw.
