what are my chances of getting into some of these, especially the more competitive ones?

sat needs upping (but you already knew that.)

looking great... IF you detail all the awesome things i'm sure you've done as a leader in all those clubs. what fundraisers did you initiate? what were those projects and what impact did they have? why are you any different from any other super genius applicant?????

good luck...really.

I'm a Holy Cross graduate and therefore a bit biased, but I do think it's an extraordinary college where fine students like you experience great success. HC went to SAT-optional two years ago, as some great liberal arts colleges like Bowdoin did many years ago, and that has encouraged a lot more outstanding students who are unsure of the board scores to apply. I'd project that you'd have a very good chance of getting into Holy Cross and probably thriving there. No expert, I'd guess that you'd get into Stonehill, Providence, and WPI with no problem. Dartmouth may pose a problem and BC has become very fashionable and has become quite selective, but you'd still have a chance. You'll get a better education at HC.
