Chance me please. I am a high school junior. I have a 4.3 on a 4.0 scale (3.98 unweighted). I'm retaking the ACT this December. I am ranked 20 in a class of 530. A few of my literary works were published in our school's literary magazine. Also, I am president of our school's Diversity Club, NHS, and co-founder/vice president of Creativity Club (formerly the corresponding secretary of History Club and a member of Art Club, but both of them were canceled last year. I participate in competitive artistic roller skating and practice about three hours six days per week, with this I have won eight national and regional metals and this year I won Leslie Elder Michigan Skater of the Year. For community service (I do at least 11 hours/week), I work as an assistant for my former chemistry teacher once a week, I volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society every weekend, I teach a roller skating for beginner and advanced classes, and I volunteer and job shadow at the hospital near my house (which is nationally ranked) every Friday. Also, last summer I did a medical program at Michigan Tech, this summer I will probably do a study/volunteer abroad or something like that. Currently, I am looking for a college that has small class sizes, a great pre med program, a diverse student body, and that does not take a miracle to get in.

you're just a junior, relax you have time..

start in the summer.. thats what i should have done

but its really hard to tell your chances without any standardized test scores..

Looks like you're into the cream of the Great Lakes area privates. Might want to look at Carlton, Macalaster, Beloit, Lawrence U.

I encourage you to visit as many schools as possible as soon as possible and as often as possible. You will get a great vibe from some, and a horrible vibe from others (based on the architecture, the students, the surrounding area, and inexplicable other reasons). It will help if you can eliminate a few based just on the vibe factor, as it will allow you to concentrate on the ones you really like.
