So, I'm currently a junior, and all the seniors I know are telling me to get a head start on all this college admission stuff for next year so I'm not so stressed. I figure it's a good idea, as I'd like to start knowing about where I'm going to end up applying. If anyone could give me any suggestions as to what schools I should look into, I'd really appreciate it. As of now I really, really, REALLY want to go to MIT (have since fifth grade) but, obviously that's a long shot for anybody, so I have to be realistic and look into other places. I also like Boston College, but I don't know a ton about it. I do pretty well in school(grades are all As) so I'm hoping that's not a problem when it comes to applying. I'm a pretty regular kid, no outstanding national awards or anything, but I get pretty into school, sports, activities and the like. I'd like to go somewhere in my general area (New England, preferably, and in a city), and somewhere that has a very good math program, because that's what I'm looking to major in. Potentially some sort of engineering (if so probably aeronautical/astronautical), but most likely math. But, I love science in general, so a good science program is most important to me.

So, I would love it if anyone had the time to just suggest a school or two I could explore a little. Geographically as I said, I'd like it to be close to or in New England, and preferably in a city, but I am completely open to any suggestions. Thanks so much!

quick edit-just to clarify I really am open to any suggestions. Tuition isn't a limiter at the moment (yay financial aid!), nor is the type of campus (centralized, spread out, etc). I really just need some suggestions as to where to start looking. Oh, and I would like to attend a school that will be a challenge academically, but still be a fun environment.

Thanks!
