Help!!!!!!

I found out today that I got into Stern, my #2. However my enjoyment was short lived when i found out I got NO financial aid. The cost for Stern next year is 46,000 and my family depends on only 1 income (about 100K after taxes). There is no way I feel comfortable making my family spend half of their income each year for the next 4 years. If any of you have any suggestions, I am begging you to share them. I really want to go to Stern, but I need your help.

Thanks for any suggestions

congrats on getting into stern...but u got no financial aid?

i suggest student loans, bank loans, etc. if you're really determined and serious about going to stern...

i have a friend going to stevens next year and her parents got a home equity loan cuz they really wanted her to go there :D there could be hope

Michigan, I'm in exactly the same situation as you. My dad makes about the same amount of money and I got into Stern with absolutely no scholarship. It is my first choice and I am so happy that I got in, but I am very doubtful about being able to go. To current NYU students, how hard is it to become an RA or a peer educator? These would be viable options to lower costs for my family.

is it really 46k next year with freshman room and board?

According to the NYU Financial Facts, the budget for an on-campus student (doing two semesters full time) at Stern is 45,680
