This fall I will have to attend The University of New Hampshire as a freshman in the Honors program for Mechanical Engineering, due to financial reasons. The problem is that I wanted to be an Industrial/Systems Engineer. I was accepted to Georgia Tech, but their financial aid package was nowhere close to what I would have needed. My stats in high school are as follows:

GPA:3.490 (All Honors/9 AP classes)
Rank: 38/348
SAT: M 690 V 740 W 690
SATII: Bio E: 690 Math IIC: 660 U.S. History: 770
EC: Sports, Student Government, Academic Teams, etc...not my main concern

Would anyone be able to suggest schools that I should transfer to after a year (for IE/SE)? Should I re-take my SAT/SATIIs? What kind of schedule should I take? UNH will give me a ton of AP Credit, should I take the classes over at UNH or take the credit (Calc, Physics)? I really don't want to stay four years at UNH doing something I don't want to do, so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
