***?! .. help..

Alright, so I've been getting crazy reports about people who have taken the SAT II Biology and saying that they still got an 800, even though they didnt know 10, or they skipped 3, or something of that nature.

I'm taking the Sat II bio in June. WILL THE CURVE BE HARSHER IN JUNE?
how about for math level II?

I don't know about those specifically. But, generally, the majority of kids, I think, take their SAT IIs in June after taking SATs in May. So,it might be a harsher curve.

bumpppp......

I think the curve is based more on the difficulty level of questions in the test, not on the performance of the test takers.

yea, I'm not sure if the curve is based on the test takers although that would make sense, but math IIC always has a generous curve and I'm guessing from you've said about the others that the bio curve is also pretty good. Have you considered taking M or E? perhaps that would have some effect on the curve?

M is generally harder, but has a more generous curve. E has easier questions, but tends to have a less forgiving curve. I do equally well on both (number of questions right), so I guess I'll take M.

I'm still deciding on what to take.
i guess ill just peak at both sections and see which ones i know more.

i usually finish the Biology exam in less than 30 minutes anyways.
lots of time to waste.
