I'm so bummed, I thought I would get away with no schedule conflicts for next year. But, unfortunately, my desired classes aren't going to work out! Can anyone tell me which they think is the best option? (I will be a senior-the only class I NEED is English)

Option 1:
AP English
Advanced(AP) Chem
AP Calc BC
Latin 4
AP Physics C
Free period/APUSH/Western Civilizations

Option 2:
AP English
Advanced(AP) Chem
AP Calc BC
Latin 4
Marine Biology
Free Period/APUSH/Western Civ

Option 3:
AP English
Advanced (AP) Chem
AP Calc BC
Latin 4
Marine Biology
Physics

Basically I can't take AP Physics AND Marine Biology, so I have to take one or the other or take regular physics and marine bio. I want to major in something math/science, probably Applied Mathematics. Grades aren't an issue, I know I can do well in any class. I'm looking at schools such as MIT, BC, Yale, UNH, and...some others.

So...thoughts? Suggestions?

Option 1, for your purposes

Which class do you want to take more? If you want to take AP Physics, take it because you want to take and not to impress colleges (not saying that you are doing that but it happens). If you enjoy physics, then do that. If you are interested in marine biology, then do that.

Unless you dislike Physics, I would suggest option 1. If you're probably going to go into Applied Math or another math-intensive field, AP Physics will be more useful.

No worries pramirez, I hate when people take a class or something just to look good for colleges. I love physics (not as much as chemistry though...just glad that wasn't an issue), and I love marine bio, although no QUITE as much. But I LOVE the marine bio teacher, she's amazing and I work really well with her (had her in ninth grade), and...not so much with the physics teacher. UGH, this sucks. Thanks for your opinions though guys, I think I need to sleep on it. I'm thinking now it'll end up being AP physics, but...who knows.
